The San Francisco 49ers just wrapped up their fourth mini camp of the preseason this week at the facility in Santa Clara. Live Oak graduates Jeff Ulbrich and Greg Schindler participated in the camp. Ulbrich, signed a contract extension and is signed through the 2006 season. The line backer is coming into the camp healthy although he is still wearing a knee brace. Ulbrich is expected to again be part of the solid line backer core of the Niners. Schindler, who provided the muscle of the Stanford Cardinal offensive line during his college career, is looking for a spot on the team as guard. He is also working on mastering the center position as well. If Schindler is able to make the squad he will be protecting Gilroy native quarterback Jeff Garcia. Camp will resume on July 25. The 49ers will have two practices open to the public this year. One will be Aug. 2 at San Jose State and the other will be Aug. 25 at Kezar Stadium
