Arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance: Jewelene Marian Scoggins, 41, of San Jose was cited and released. She was also charged with giving a false identification. The report was taken on April 3 at 7:25 p.m.
• Holly Kristina Barclay, 19, of Morgan Hill was taken to county jail. She was also charged with possession of stolen property and fraudulent use of a credit card. The report was taken at 10:19 p.m. on April 6.

• A 32-year-old Morgan Hill male was taken to county jail charged with spousal abuse. The report was taken on April 9 at 6:43 a.m.
• A 32-year-old Morgan Hill male was taken to county jail charged with inflicting a corporeal injury on a child. The report was taken at 8:29 a.m. on April 9.
• A Morgan Hill resident reported the resident’s sister was hitting the resident’s mother. The mother told police the fight was over the daughter’s prom dress. The daughter has been arrested before for battery, but her mother refused to tell police if the daughter was hitting her again. The report was taken at 11:46 a.m. on May 17.
• A Morgan Hill resident reported her husband pushed her and gave her a black eye. She told police there is a history of domestic violence, and she wanted to get a restraining order. The report was taken on May 17 at 10:47 p.m.
• Someone told police there were four or five people involved in a fight at P.A. Walsh Elementary. The report was taken at 2:06 a.m. on May 18.
Auto burglary: A resident of the Morgan Hill apartments reported while he was on vacation in Mexico from Dec. 22 until April 7, someone broke into his vehicle through the rear window and stole his stereo. He also told police he allowed someone to stay in his room while he was gone, and when he returned some of his things – mostly tools with his name on them – were missing. The report was taken on May 5 at 9:13 a.m.
• Someone from Dan Gamel’s RV reported two employee vehicles were broken into. The windows of a Jeep Grand Cherokee and a Nissan were broken and property was stolen. The report was taken at 12:31 p.m. on May 6.
• A Morgan Hill resident told police the resident’s Honda Civic was broken into when parked at the DKW Salon. The passenger window was shattered, the stereo and CD’s were stolen and the glove compartment and a backpack had been ransacked. The report was taken on May 7 at 1:07 p.m.
• A resident of E. Main Avenue reported someone broke into her locked pickup overnight. The passenger door was jimmied, and the stereo system was stolen. The report was taken at 7:40 p.m. on May 9.
