Tri-County Athletic League
’s second team.
Three Live Oak High football players have been named to the Tri-County Athletic League’s second team.

Senior quarterback Steve Conner, senior running back Daniel Salinas and senior defensive back Miguel Ayala all earned the all-league recognition for the Acorns.

Live Oak finished 0-9-1 overall and 0-5 in TCAL play.

Conner passed for 621 yards and four touchdowns, with nine interceptions, on 61-of-122 passing for the Acorns.

The senior also rushed for 265 yards and five TDs on 75 carries, and caught seven passes for 104 yards and two more TDs.

Salinas rushed for a team-high 493 yards and three TDs on 100 carries for Live Oak.

Ayala anchored the Live Oak defense from his defensive backfield pos-ition, and called the defensive signals for the Acorns.

Earning honorable mention for Live Oak were linemen Antonio Samarron, Mike Gamez and Dustin Vertin, and running back/defensive back Nick Rauschnot.
