complications from congestive heart failure. He was 84.

Raymond was born Aug. 7, 1920, in Chicago, Ill., to Modesto and Eugenia (Marcheschi) Di Marco. He moved to California after serving in World War II and completing medical school at Loyola University in Chicago.
He began his professional career as a general practitioner in Morgan Hill in 1952. He left the practice two years later to attend Stanford University School of Medicine to specialize in dermatology. He maintained a private practice for 30 years, the majority in the Foothill Medical-Dental Center in Sunnyvale.
He was the loving husband for 48 years of Adelaide Florence (Grosslein) Di Marco until her death in October 2001. They were the parents of seven sons: Michael, Robert (Allison), Jeffrey (Jean), Stephen (Maria), John, James (Marian) and Paul Di Marco; and grandparents to Christopher, Jesse, Brandon and Sierra Di Marco, Vanessa (Ryan) Throckmorton, Steven Wilburn, Cleveland (Carla) and Kristine Evans, and Kimberly (Dave) Lewis.
Funeral Mass was Friday, June 3, at Queen of Apostles Church, followed by interment at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery. Requiem Mass followed.
Services were under the direction of Willow Glen Funeral Chapel.
