Morgan Hill – Morgan Hill’s Coldwell Banker announced on Aug. 30 that it’s raised almost $8,500 as part of the company’s eighth annual Habitat for Humanity fundraising campaign.

This year’s campaign, dubbed “100 Years of Homes and Hope,” centered around Coldwell Banker Real Estate Corporation’s centennial birthday in 2006.

During the past eight years, the Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Community Foundation has raised $1.2 million through the efforts of its sales associates, managers, staff and clients in Northern California and they’ve participated in the construction of 40 Habitat for Humanity homes.

The fundraising campaign at the Morgan Hill office, 950 Tennant Station, began July 10 and ran through Sept. 5.

Last year, the Morgan Hill office created an “in-house” raffle to further supplement its goal.

This year’s company goal was $7,700, and under the direction of Realtor Lois Lamb Bianchi, many donations were amassed from local businesses and individuals.
