I would like to congratulate the staff, cast and crew of South Valley Civic Theater’s “Disney’s Aladdin Jr.” These talented volunteers have put on another wonderful musical, providing early summer fun for the whole family.
A highlight has been the raffle for a child to win a chance to ride on the flying carpet with Aladdin, Jasmine or the Genie. The smiles on the kids’ faces were pure magic.
Last Sunday’s performance was sold out, but there are still five shows, including two matinees, left. Thank you to all the audience members who have come to cheer on Aladdin as he outsmarts the evil Jafar!

What more could the college want than a good, competent, dedicated, conscientious teacher and a hard-working, dedicated, inspiring coach who fights to get the best for his team and as a result gets the best from his team?
It is high time that the Gavilan board issued Coach Kenworthy tenure and invite him back to continue to build what he started.
