Dear Editor,
Congressman Richard Pombo has learned from President Bush and Vice President Cheney that repeating a falsehood often will fool many voters. He is an enthusiastic supporter of the Bush/Cheney Iraq War. He stands with the president against bringing our brave troops home before 2009. This is Pombo’s practical way to save American lives. We can hope the sensible Republicans of his district will turn him out of office in June and allow a rational assessment of the best course of action for our nation.
