Ron Hannon is Gavilan College’s Employee of the Month for May 2012. Ron is the Dean for the Kinesiology and Athletics Department and has been with Gavilan College since 2001.
Ron dealt with a number of difficult situations and tragedies in the past year, and has done so with sensitivity, kindness, generosity and class. From issues with football students and off-site parties that resulted in police action, to catching thieves in the gym to the tragic car accident involving three basketball players, he has proven himself to be a strict but fair role model to students and has provided comfort to our students and their families.
