Petty theft: A Morgan Hill resident reported her cell phone was stolen while she was in the Safeway grocery store in Tennant Station. The report was taken at 2am.

Stolen vehicle: A Morgan Hill resident reported their Honda Accord was stolen while parked on a dead-end street off of Calle Mazatan. The report was taken at 12:56pm.

Petty theft: A resident of the Hacienda Mobile Home Estates reported two concrete lions valued at $400 were stolen from her front yard. The report was taken at 2:15pm.

July 29

Petty theft: A Morgan Hill resident reported his wallet was stolen from the counter at Quiznos Sub sandwich store. The report was taken at 1:13pm.

July 30

Vandalism: The manager of the Jasmine Square Apartments reported someone “tagged” a dumpster enclosure at the complex, an electrical box and the complex sign. The report was taken at 12:15pm.

Auto burglary: An employee of the Cinelux Theaters in Tennant Station shopping center reported his Toyota Supra was broken into while parked behind the theater. The stereo, an iPod and other items were stolen from the Toyota. The report was taken at 2:38pm.

Burglary: A Morgan Hill resident reported someone broke into his trailer over the weekend. It was unclear at the time of the report if anything was stolen from the trailer. The report was taken at 5:36pm.

Petty theft: A Morgan Hill resident reported two bikes were stolen from the train station. The report was taken at 7:34pm.

July 31

Defraud innkeeper: Denny’s Restaurant on Cochrane Road reported four male suspects left without paying for their meals. The report was taken at 3:04am.

Vandalism: Halcyon Finance Company reported someone threw a boulder through a window of the business. The report was taken at 9:10am.

Vandalism: A business on San Pedro Avenue reported someone spraypainted the words “censor art” on the window and wall of the business. The report was taken at 12:25pm.

Petty theft: A resident of Nob Hill Terrace reported a black Labrador Retriever was stolen from the back yard of the residence. The report was taken at 12:36pm.

Fraud: Rite Aid reported two counterfeit $20 bills were taken on July 30. The report was taken at 1:42pm.

Vandalism: An employee of the Dollar Tree reported her Chevy Suburban was “keyed” while in the parking lot of the business. The report was taken at 7:49pm.

Aug. 1

Burglary: Construction trailers at a site on Cochrane Road at Highway 101 were broken into overnight. Electric cords and GPS base stations were stolen. The report was taken at 6:10am.
