Other MHPD incidents

Stolen vehicle

Someone reported their 2008 Toyota Prius stolen after leaving the doors unlocked with a gym bag containing the vehicle’s keys on the front seat, police said. The car was reportedly stolen from the parking lot of Wal-Mart, 170 Cochrane Plaza about 9:46 a.m. Saturday. It was found about 10 minutes later in front of the nearby McDonald’s restaurant. The vehicle owner was able to flag down an officer moments after noticing the car was missing.
