n A resident of San Luis Way reported her mailbox was stolen overnight. The report was taken on June 13 at 9:13am.

n Home Depot on East Dunne Avenue reported four suspects ran out of the store with approximately $600-700 in merchandise. The report was taken at 8:28pm on June 13.

n Teddy Bear Laundrymat on Monterey Road reported someone broke into the change machine and stole an unknown amount of money. The report was taken on June 15 at 9:15pm.

n A Morgan Hill resident reported her purse was taken while she was at the McDonald’s in the Vineyard Town Center. The report was taken at 9:48am on June 16.

Burglary

n Alacante Construction reported a construction bin at a job site at Cochrane Road and Peet Road was broken into and electrical supplies were stolen. The report was taken on June 12 at 8:21pm.

n A construction company reported that three homes in the 18600 block of Arguello Avenue were burglarized overnight. The homes, under construction, were broken into and copper piping and wiring were stolen. The report was taken on June 13 at 9:33am.

n A resident of Encino Drive reported the workshop outside the residence was broken into overnight. The report was taken at 11:57am on June 13.

n A resident of the Creekside Village Townhomes reported she arrived home to find her garage door half open, her sliding glass door open and her stereo gone. The report was taken on June 19 at 8:47pm.

n Live Oak High School reported someone entered the kitchen, possibly with a key, and stole food and threw some food a way. The report was taken at 8:41am on June 20.

Grand Theft:

n Windmill Mobile Home Park on San Pedro Avenue reported a piano was stole from the clubhouse. The report was taken on June 18 at 2:36pm.

Vandalism:

n A resident of Murphy Ranch Apartments reported someone dented the hood and roof of her truck and shattered the windshield of her car. The report was taken on June 13 at 2:58am.

n A Morgan Hill resident reported she was driving on East Main Avenue at Montoya Circle when her vehicle, along with another, was hit by something thrown from a residence at Montoya Circle. The windshield of the Toyota was shattered, and a Dodge Caravan was also hit. The report was taken at 11:33am on June 13.

n A resident of La Crosse Drive reported her Saturn was set on fire overnight. She told police she believes the suspect is someone that she and her husband kicked out of the pool the night before. The report was taken on June 13 at 2:10pm.

n A resident of Majorca Drive reported suspects in a Mustang convertible “egged” her vehicles. She told police she knows two of the suspects but not the third. The report was taken at 12:49am on June 14.

n A resident of Via Sorrento reported his bedroom window was shot with a BB gun. The report was taken on June 14 at 12:07pm.

n Windows were shattered and a door was left open at the Sushi Ichiban and Pho Le restaurants in the Cochrane Plaza shopping center overnight. The report was taken on June 16 at 5:59am.

n Two residents of Lake View Drive reported their mailboxes and other mailboxes on the street were vandalized overnight. The reports were taken on June 18 at 8:15am and 8:46am.

Auto Burglary:

n A Morgan Hill resident reported her car “died” while parked at the Safeway store in Tennant Station shopping center. She left the car unlocked in the parking lot overnight, and when she returned the next day, several items she was supposed to return to the library had been stolen, including five movies, 11 CDs and a few books. The report was taken on June 15 at 2:20pm.

Battery:

n A Morgan Hill resident reported she was having an argument with her live-in boyfriend, and the argument became physical. She told police he hit her several times in the head and grabbed her around the neck before leaving. The report was taken on June 15 at 4:20pm.

Fraud:

n A resident of the 2700 block of Thomas Grade reported someone stole some of her checks, possibly from the mailbox, and used them to purchase items totaling approximately $3,800. The report was taken on May 23 at 8:22pm.

n A Morgan Hill resident reported she was approached by some suspects in the Target in Cochrane Plaza shopping center. The suspects had “a suitcase full of jewels,” and the resident agreed to pay $3,000 for the suitcase. On of the suspects accompanied the resident to the Bank of America, where she gave him the money. The resident went back to Target to get the money, but the other suspects never showed up. The report was taken at 8:48pm on May 26
