Jessica Bergstrom Awarded Position
Jessica Bergstrom has been awarded the position of Junior Stylist at Cherisse’s Hair Salon & Day Spa in Morgan Hill.
Bergstrom successfully completed a yearlong, hair stylist’s training, which involved learning the essentials of hair coloring, cutting, perms, and aspects of 3-dimensional color coverage.
During a 10-week assessment period, she was required to perform a wide variety of specialized hair cutting and coloring techniques on 35 live models, and was then graded on her knowledge and ability.
She received further testing for professionalism and technical procedures from Cherisse White, owner of Cherisse’s Hair Salon & Day Spa, and a National Premier Educator with the Paul Mitchell System.
Hairstylists Invited To An Evening of Color Education
Area salon professional hairstylists as well as cosmetology students are invited to a color class on Jan. 23 at Gavilan College, beginning at 6:30pm.
The featured artist is Alicia Orabella who will share fashion trends utilizing her contemporary philosophy of “Keeping it Real” coloring techniques. Orabella is a Redken facilitator of hair color, design and a “Redken for Men” core team member.
