to end their undefeated streak.
The Britton Bobcats 7th grade boys basketball team fell to a tough Ocala Middle School team in their second game of the season to end their undefeated streak. The game was close through three quarters, but Ocala staged an impressive and dominating fourth quarter blitz to win the game.
In their third game, the Bobcats took on mighty Chaboya. The first quarter was close, however, Chaboya pulled away in the second and third quarters to lead the Bobcats by 18 points heading into the fourth quarter. Britton mounted a frenzied comeback with a series of 3-pointers and a tough half court trapping defense. They closed the gap to six points, but the clock was against them and Chaboya held on for the victory.
