Pre-Season Training Begins Sunday
The annual Pre-Season training program sponsored by Morgan Hill Pony Baseball will begin this Sunday, January 8. The training program is free and open to all players from 7 to 12 years of age. No registration is required. The program will be held every Sunday in January at the Live Oak H.S. Baseball field, from 10:00 AM to Noon, Rain or Shine. Arm Strengthening Program for Morgan Hill Spirit and Pride Softball Players January 7th to February 21st (Tuesday evenings and Saturday mornings) This nationally recognized arm strengthening program is one of the best in the country for any level of softball player. The program will be taught by Rich Taylor, who is certified to teach the class. The cost is $135 for 14 sessions ($8 per session). The price includes the J-Band tubing. Information and Sign ups will be taken by Ed Machado and is available to first 30 girls ages 10 to 15. Classes will be held in San Martin School and Morgan Hill Community Park (Tuesday at 4-5 p.m. and Saturday morning TBA). for ages 2-12 for their 2006 basketball season. The season runs from Jan.21st through March 18th and is played at local schools from 9am-3pm.The registration fees are $45-100, depending on age group.
