The Live Oak roller hockey team lost to first-place Lincoln 7-6.

The Acorns came from behind after yielding three goals in the first period and entered the second knotted at 4.

Senior Scott Alexander broke up Lincoln’s 3-0 scoring run with an assist from Kyle Dutra.

Both teams scored once in the second period.

Late in the third period that Live Oak added one more goal on a shot from Alexander, assisted by freshman Christian Simonsen.

Lincoln, however, sent two into the net to give the team the victory.

Dutra followed with two goals of his own and two more assists on goals scored by Alexander and Conner Williamson.

Senior Tyler Damron made several key defensive plays.

Also keeping the pressure on with strong contributions to the game were juniors Michael and Kyle Widergren, and Ryan Listol.

Live Oak will face off against Santa Clara tonight at 6pm.
