Recovered stolen vehicle

Police arrested two people after they were seen inside a stolen vehicle in the parking lot of Wal-Mart, 170 Cochrane Plaza. The vehicle, a Toyota 4Runner, was reported stolen out of San Jose. The crime was reported 6:21 p.m. Feb. 14.

Auto burglary

A thief or thieves broke into a 2009 Chevrolet Colorado on La Vela Court and stole tools from inside the vehicle. The crime was reported 7:41 a.m. Feb. 15. 

Burglary

A resident of the 400 block of Calle Cabezal returned home to find the bathroom window broken and the bedroom ransacked. A jewelry box inside the bedroom was empty. The burglary was reported about 11 a.m. Feb. 15.

Someone broke into a trailer at Maple Leaf RV Park, 15200 Monterey Road, and stole between $600 and $800 cash. The crime was reported 8:15 p.m. Feb. 15. 

Animal control

A resident of Oregano Court was walking her Pomeranian dog when a yellow lab attacked the pet and its owner. The owner of the victim dog was uninjured, but her Pomeranian was “severely injured,” according to police reports. The dog attack was reported 11:07 a.m. Feb. 14.
