A fire in the hills near Uvas Reservoir west of Morgan Hill burned about 25 acres of vegetation over the weekend.
Firefighters were called to the fire just after 3 p.m. Aug. 12 in the area of Uvas and Watsonville roads, according to authorities.

Although 30 structures in the area were threatened by the wildfire, no structure damage was reported, according to CalFire Assistant Chief of Administration Michael Borelli.

The fire was contained and controlled by 11 p.m. Aug. 14, after about 25 acres of vegetation burned on the remote hillsides, Borelli said.

CalFire, the South Santa Clara County Fire District, San Jose Fire, Santa Clara County Fire, Morgan Hill Fire, California Highway Patrol and Sheriff’s Office were involved in the response.
