Residential burglary
Someone, between 9:30 and 10:19 p.m. Feb. 28 on the 11000 block of Rothe Drive in Gilroy, stole approximately $16,550 worth of electronics and sports memorabilia from a residence.
Someone, between 5:30 p.m. March 3 and 10:15 a.m. March 4 on the 2700 block of Ferguson Avenue in Gilroy, stole $120 worth of items from an unlocked rear garage.
Someone, between 5:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Feb. 26 on the 4700 block of Monterey Highway at Castro Valley Road in Gilroy, stole more than $5,000 worth of items from a residence.
Vandalism
Someone, between 9 p.m. Feb. 24 and 7 a.m. Feb. 25 on the 300 block of Palomino Lane in San Martin, slashed two tires worth $600 on the victim’s vehicle.
Mail theft
Someone stole a mail package from a residence at 2:05 p.m. Feb. 27 on the 15000 block of Llagas Avenue in San Martin. The stolen package’s value was estimated at $45.
Theft by access card
Someone, between midnight Feb. 28 and midnight March 1 on the 100 block of Ogier Avenue in Morgan Hill, fraudulently withdrew $790.95 from the victim’s bank account at two Southern California cities.
Vehicle theft
Someone, between 10:30 a.m. Feb. 23 and 8 a.m. Feb. 24 on Fisher Avenue at Camille Court in Morgan Hill, stole the victim’s trailer that was parked on the side of the road in an unincorporated part of town.
Recovered vehicle
Officers recovered a stolen 1999 Honda Civic at 11:03 a.m. May 6 on Ogier Avenue at Monterey Highway in Morgan Hill.
Drugs
A 35-year-old man was charged with being under the influence of a controlled substance at 11:21 p.m. March 9 on the 1700 block of Fisher Avenue in Morgan Hill.
A 36-year-old man was charged with being under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance at 4 p.m. March 4 on Monterey Highway at Highland Avenue in San Martin.
A 37-year-old man was charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia at 2:04 p.m. March 3 on First Street at Wren Avenue in Gilroy.
A 40-year-old man was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia at 6 p.m. March 2 on Electa Court at Las Animas Avenue in Gilroy.
A 44-year-old man was charged with being under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia at 7:37 a.m. Feb. 28 on Mammini Court at San Martin Avenue in San Martin.
Public intoxication
A 25-year-old man was charged with public intoxication between 10:10 and 10:45 p.m. March 5 on the 2400 block of Bridle Path Drive in Gilroy.
