Auto burglary
The rear passenger window of a Chevrolet Tahoe was smashed, and someone stole jewelry and medications from the vehicle. The incident happened on the 18200 block of Madrone Parkway, and was reported about 11 a.m. June 17.
Stolen vehicle
The owner of a silver 1993 Nissan Z300 loaned the vehicle to his daughter for five days, and she refused to give it back. The daughter allowed her friends to drive the vehicle, which was subsequently cited for traffic violations. The crime was reported on the 1500 block of Blue Bonnet Way, about 3 p.m. June 17.
A green 1998 Honda Civic was stolen from the 100 block of Cosmo Avenue. The vehicle was reported stolen about 7 a.m. June 15, and was recovered by 8:45 a.m. near the intersection of Denali Court and West Edmundson Avenue. The stereo was stolen from the vehicle. Â
Vandalism
Someone drove through the parking lot of Vineyard Town Center in a white Mercedes-Benz, stopped in front of a blue Mustang parked in front of Togo’s, then exited the vehicle and smashed the windows of the Mustang with a bat. The crime was reported 9:15 p.m. June 15.
Three large planters on the 17400 block of Monterey Road in downtown Morgan Hill were smashed overnight June 14.
Petty theft
Someone stole about $35 worth of merchandise from Target, 1061 Cochrane Road. The crime was reported 1:47 p.m. June 14.
