OAKLAND — Gilroy native Jeff Garcia has signed a contract to play for the Oakland Raiders next season, The Associated Press is reporting.
Acoording to the report, Raiders senior executive John Herrera told the AP Garcia, a four-time Pro Bowler, “will join the club’s offseason workout program immediately alongside starter JaMarcus Russell.”
Garcia has played for five different teams in his career, most recently spending the past two seasons as the starting quarterback of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
