n Auto burglary: A resident of Warren Avenue reported a CD player was stolen from their unlocked Chevy Astro. The report was taken at 10:49am.

n Auto burglary: A resident of Warren Avenue reported binoculars and loose change were stolen from their Chevy Tahoe overnight. The report was taken at 2:30pm.

n Vandalism: A resident of Wright Avenue reported the east wall of their residence has graffiti on it. The report was taken at 5:21pm.

n Auto burglary: A guest of the Inn at Morgan Hill on Condit Road reported two suitcases were stolen from their unlocked Chrysler. The report was taken at 8:04pm.

March 18

n Vandalism: A resident of Easy Street reported he called 911 twice the night before to report fighting juveniles, and now his mailbox is damaged. The report was taken at 6:40am.

n Battery: A Morgan Hill resident reported her boyfriend choked her the night before and tried to shove her face in the toilet. She told police she is afraid for her life. The report was taken at 6:30pm.

March 19

n Vandalism: A resident of Serene Drive reported their house was egged. The report was taken at 1:02am.

n Auto burglary: Someone stole a flashlight and business planners out of an unlocked vehicle while it was parked on East First Street. The report was taken at 9:29am.

n Burglary: A sales trailer on Shafer Avenue was broken into overnight. A crow bar was used. The phone line was cut, and the power was turned off at the main breaker. Nothing was reported stolen. The report was taken at 2:18pm.

n Petty theft: A Morgan Hill resident reported their wallet was stolen from a shopping cart while they were in the Albertson’s grocery store. The report was taken at 4:38pm.

March 20

n Auto burglary: A resident of Willow Creek Drive reported her Chevy Suburban was broken into overnight. A window was shattered, and her purse was stolen. The report was taken at 7:48am.

n Auto burglary: A resident of Sword Dancer Court reported someone stole a satellite radio valued at $200 from their unlocked Chevy pickup. The report was taken at 8:24am.

n Auto burglary: A resident of Willow Creek Drive reported someone broke into her Honda Civic overnight. A window was shattered, and her purse and wallet were stolen. The report was taken at 10:35am.

n Stolen vehicle: A Morgan Hill resident reported a trailer was stolen sometime between March 18 and 20. The report was taken at 10:36am.

n Auto burglary: A resident of Calle Sienna reported their IBM Thinkpad valued at $1,000 was stolen from the trunk of their vehicle. The report was taken at 11:38am.

n Battery: A Live Oak High student reported her boyfriend pushed her, and her leg hurts. She told the nurse she wanted to talk to an officer. The report was taken at 11:48am.

n Vandalism: Commonwealth Central Credit on Tennant Avenue reported someone shot a window of the business, making a hole about the size of a BB and shattering the window. They told police a loud bang was heard at approximately 1:30pm, but was assumed to be lightning. The damage is estimated to be $1,000. The report was taken at 2:06pm.

n Petty theft: The Goddess Bead Shop reported $100 in cash was stolen from the register, and $100 in merchandise was stolen. The report was taken at 5:46pm.

n Auto burglary: A Toyota Tacoma was broken into while it was parked at the Dollar Tree. A window was shattered, and a work back was stolen from the vehicle. The report was taken at 6:16pm.

n Threats: A resident of Markross Court reported an ex-boyfriend is threatening her. She told police he has called and threatened to hurt her and sent people over to beat her up. She told police she is afraid of the suspect, and he is on parole and a drug user. The report was taken at 6:24pm.

n Burglary: A resident of West Dunne Avenue reported their home was broken into during the day. A rear window was shattered, and a computer was stolen. The report was taken at 6:25pm.

March 21

n Identity theft: A Morgan Hill resident reported he received a letter from the IRS saying he didn’t file for taxes from an employer he never worked for. He told police he hasn’t lost any money, but his Social Security number, name and date of birth were used by someone else. The report was taken at 1:40pm.

n Identity theft: A resident of Gitana Court reported approximately $20,000 was stolen from credit cards and checking/savings accounts in a sweepstakes scam. The report was taken at 2:58pm.

n Child abuse: A Morgan Hill resident reported her 17-year-old son just disclosed he was molested when he was three years old, either by his father, his uncle or a family friend. The report was taken at 4:36pm.

n Identity theft: A Morgan Hill resident reported he tried to withdraw money from his account and found that someone used his debit card to make purchases of more than $500. The report was taken at 4:47pm.

n Fraud: A Morgan Hill resident reported a real estate broker took $205,000 from him and forged documents. The report was taken at 5:22pm.

n Disturbance: A resident of Calle del Sol reported six adult females showed up at her house to fight her daughter. She told police she did not know the females, but they asked for her daughter by name. The report was taken at 5:30pm.
