SAN JOSE — The Lady Acorns on Friday will play Willow Glen for first place in the BVAL-Santa Teresa Division.

Live Oak secured that showdown with a 2-0 victory at Lincoln on Wednesday.

Amanda Morgan scored two goals for the second straight game, and Selena Braun had five saves for the Acorns (14-1-1 overall, 10-1-1 BVAL), who ran their shutout streak to seven games. They have not surrendered a goal since their last meeting with Willow Glen (15-1-2, 10-0-2) on Jan. 14, a 1-1 tie.

The first-place Rams beat Westmont 8-0 Wednesday and will meet Live Oak at 5 p.m. in the Morgan Hill Outdoor Sports Center.

The Acorns also will host their final game versus Prospect next Wednesday.
