More than a thousand people packed into the Denny’s on Cochrane
Road Tuesday morning to grab a free breakfast. Part of a national
promotion advertised during the Super Bowl, Denny’s was giving away
a Grand Slam – with two eggs, two strips of bacon, two sausages and
two pancakes – free to anyone who came in from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. In
