The Morgan Hill Junior Pee Wee Raiders had their three-game winning streak snapped with a 26-0 loss to the first place East Bay West Wranglers.

The Raiders mounted their best threat of the day on their opening drive. Trailing 8-0, Morgan Hill went on a long 11-play drive on the strength of hard running by Drew Glines and blocking of Brandon Duran, Blake Birnie and Dalton Craig.

But Morgan Hill’s drive came up short, and the explosive offense and aggressive defense of East Bay was too much.

Some of the bright spots included a blocked PAT by Mitch Crowley and Oscar Zuniga. Kyle Quadros has six tackles and half a sack and Zuniga also had a sack.

Cameron Gonsales, Jordan Heintz and Garrett White all delivered big defensive plays, including an open field tackle by Gonsales that saved a touchdown in the third quarter. White made a similar tackle a play later and Zuniga’s ensuing sack gave the ball back to Morgan Hill.
