P.A. Walsh Elementary School is celebrating its 60th anniversary at 1:15 p.m. May 17 on the 353 West Main Street Campus in Morgan Hill.

As part of the festivities, each grade, which was allocated a decade to represent, will give a performance to guests outside on the blacktop from 1:15 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. Then, there will be a reception with cake in the library and outside area.

The free event, presented by the Home and School Club, is open to the public.

P.A. Walsh opened in the fall of 1952 and will have members from its first class in attendance.
