Petty theft: A bag was stolen from an unlocked trunk while the vehicle was parked at a business on Monterey Road. The bag contained notebooks and a $300 tuition payment. The report was taken at 11:18am.

Grand theft: A resident of the Hill Haven Mobile Home Park reported her ex-boyfriend stole her rings. The report was taken at 11:36am.

Vandalism: A resident of Del Monte Avenue reported someone broke the window of an apartment overnight. The report was taken at 12:44pm.

Petty theft: A resident of Sierra Morena Court reported someone took a black tote bag from their Toyota Sienna. The report was taken at 5:19pm.

Sept. 26

Burglary: Someone cut a hole in the chain link fence around the PG&E construction yard at West Main Avenue and Crest Avenue. Bolt cutters were apparently used to cut locks on the storage sheds inside the yard, and a generator and some tools were stolen. The report was taken at 7:11am.

Arrests:

Santiago Arroyo, 26, was cited and released for allegedly driving on a suspended or revoked license. The report was taken on Sept. 6 at 1:43pm.

A 33-year-old man was booked into Santa Clara County Jail on charges of alleged domestic battery. The report was taken on Sept. 11 at 7:14pm.

Jose E. Martinez, 28, was cited and released on suspicion of driving under the influence. The report was taken at 7:20pm on Sept. 12.

Anthony B. Figueroa, 29, was cited and released on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance. The report was taken on Sept. 12 at 6:53pm.

A 16-year-old male was taken to Juvenile Hall on charges of alleged auto theft. The report was taken at 10:23pm on Sept. 12.

Omar A. Herrera, 24, and Frank Rivera, 20, were booked into Santa Clara County Jail on charges of alleged grand theft. The report was taken on Sept. 16 at 8:46am.

Jose. G. Ramos, 22, was cited and released on suspicion of driving under the influence. The report was taken at 11:56pm on Sept. 16.

Jorge A. Hernandez, 34, was booked into Santa Clara County Jail on suspicion of driving under the influence. The report was taken on Sept. 20 at 9:39pm.

Marian C. Fish, 52, was booked into Santa Clara County Jail on suspicion of being drunk in public. The report was taken at Sept. 21 at 6pm.

A 44-year-old Morgan Hill resident was booked into Santa Clara County Jail on charges of alleged spousal abuse. The report was taken at 11:16pm on Sept. 21.

Sheriff’s Office:

Commercial burglary: Someone forced entry into the Camping World in San Martin by breaking the glass in the front door. The suspect(s) entered through the opening in the door and smashed the glass to a display cabinet to remove 11 CB radios and two GPS devices. The suspect(s) stole six flat screen TV/DVD sets from a shelf. One flat screen TV/DVD set was found outside the store in the roadway. Total loss is estimated at $5938.71. The suspect(s) are unknown and are still at large.

Petty Theft: A portable generator that was left at a construction site was stolen a few days later. The generator is valued at $400. A neighbor said that he saw the generator in the back of a truck leaving the area. The suspects are known but are still at large. The report was taken on Sept. 19.
