The Morgan Hill Downtown Association is looking for candy hosts for its annual Safe Trick-or-Treating event at sundown Tuesday, Oct. 31.
Those who would be interested in setting up a table in a designated spot on either side of Monterey Road, between East Dunne and Main avenues, as assigned by the association, should contact the association’s executive director, Theresa Kiernan, (408) 779-3190.
The association is inviting hosts to dress for the occasion and focus on distribution of candy to the youth of the community and getting the word out about their business.
The hosts should plan on approximately 5,000 pieces of candy. With that expense there are no fees for participating. Businesses who want to participate don’t have to be located in that portion of the downtown, nor do they have to be a member of the MHDA.
This event is open to all young people in the community and all local businesses.
