Softball: Willow Glen edges Live Oak, 9-7

Bre Sabala went 4-for-5 with three runs and one RBI, but Live Oak High’s softball team suffered a 9-7 loss to Willow Glen on Tuesday.

Tiffany Moore went 4-for-5 with a double and Hanna Doting was 3-for-4 with a double and one RBI for the Acorns, who got five strikeouts from pitcher Rachel Ditta.

“I am very proud of the girls and how they are improving with every game,” Live Oak coach Ron Lowery said. “They are working hard in practice, and it shows.”
