Despite scoring the first run for the second consecutive game, the Sobrato baseball team couldn’t hold on against Santa Teresa, allowing five runs in the sixth inning in a 5-1 loss.
Casey Conforti fished 2-for-3 for the Bulldogs in the loss. Sobrato finished win only four hits in the game, as Karl Mann and Tanner Disibio each finished with one.
On the mound Conforti threw 5.2 innings and allowed five earned runs and six hits. He struck out four batters in the loss.

The Bulldogs improved to 3-0 Thursday with a 4-3 victory over Yerba Buena.

The Bulldogs couldn’t keep pace with Oak Grove on Thursday, losing 3-0.
The Eagles controlled the contest from the onset, winning each set by at least seven points (25-18, 25-16, 25-17).
The Bulldogs travel to Sacred Heart Prep in Atherton on Tuesday.
