challenging other local clubs for top rankings.
The girls team at the Morgan Hill Gymnastics Club has been challenging other local clubs for top rankings.
After placing third as a team in Santa Cruz two weeks ago and taking second place in San Bruno last week, they’ve done just that. They travelled to San Louis Obispo over the weekend and will be competing in Santa Cruz again on Oct. 14-15. Their final meet of the regular season will be in Clovis on Oct. 21-22.
Highlights of overall team and individual girl results are:
- At Santa Cruz on Sept. 23, the team ranked third out of seven teams.

Madeline Della Maggiore placed second on vault and Beam, and fourth in the all around.

Karina Daniels placed second on vault and fourth in the all around

Sarah Langerman placed first on vault with a 9.375 and sixth in the all around.

Noell Protera placed 10th in the all around.

Alissa Pham placed fourth on beam in her first meet.

Karissa Fisher placed second on vault and seventh in the all around.

Emma Spoldi placed second on vault and eighth in the all around.
In San Bruno the girls team took a giant leap forward, boasting their most successful meet of their season by placing second out of seven teams. They made a statement that the team is getting stronger with many of the girls competing for their first or second years.

Langerman placed second on vault and fourth in the all around.

Portera placed second on bars and fifth in the all around.

Pham placed first on floor and second on vault.

Della Maggiore placed fifth in the all around.

Spoldi had a great meet with a first place on vault, beam and floor with a score of 9.35 and first in the all around.
