At 7:37 p.m. June 14, Gilroy Police officers and Gilroy Fire personnel were dispatched to the 0-100 block of West Eighth Street regarding a possible dead body that had been located within a motorhome, according to a press release sent early this morning.
GFD paramedics arrived on scene and confirmed the subject, an elderly male whose name and age have not been released, was deceased. GPD detectives and the Santa Clara County Medical Examiner-Coroner’s Office are conducting a death investigation, the press release states. A portion of the investigation will verify the deceased man’s identity and determine his cause of death, police say.
