SPORTS SHORTS: LOHS, SHS taking part in Dig Pink girls volleyball event Saturday

Nate Schilling had 17 points and 12 assists, and fellow sophomore Justin Mortensen had 11 points, nine rebounds and five blocks to help Oakwood’s boys basketball team roll to a 73-40 home win over Kirby on Monday night.
Jonathan Angulo had 13 points, five rebounds and five steals for the Hawks, who improved to 17-5 overall.
Miles Batey had 11 points and four rebounds for Oakwood, which got six points and eight rebounds from Ryan Salamon and eight points and four rebounds from Harsh Sikka.
