Hazel Hill had 16 points to lead Sobrato to its first win, 43-36 win over Independence Wednesday.
That is the Bulldogs’ first win of the season, improving to 1-3 overall.
Megan Yabumoto followed with 12 points and Vanessa Gonzalez added five.
Hill also led with eight rebounds and three blocks.
Sobrato will kick off the Gunderson Tournament today.
Sobrato falls 2-1 to King’s Academy
Kayla King had a goal, but the Sobrato girls soccer team fell 2-1 to King’s Academy Tuesday.
King’s goal came in the first half, sending the Bulldogs into the break tied 1-1. The Knights pulled ahead in the second half with a goal.
Sobrato will travel to Piedmont Hills Friday and then take a break before hosting Live Oak 3:15 p.m. at the Morgan Hill Sports Complex.
