As many of us in Morgan Hill know, we don’t have a whole lot of control over rising gas prices. What I do know we have control over is where we choose to fill up our tank. I would encourage everyone to fill up in Morgan Hill, because those sales tax dollars that are generated by the rise in gas prices go directly to the City of Morgan Hill. Next time you want to drive to Gilroy or south San Jose to fill-up your tank, think about keeping your sales tax dollars local.Â
