Health and Wellness Fair
The Morgan Hill Chamber of Commerce and the Centennial Recreation Center present the 2007 Health and Wellness Fair, 10am-3pm at the Centennial Recreation Center, 171 W. Edmundson Ave. Many exhibitors and health information booths. Presentations include stress reduction, skin cancer and cooking demonstrations. Featured speaker is Walter Bortz from the health industry.

Open Juried Art Show Reception
The public is invited to the reception and awards ceremony for artists displaying their work in all medias including sculpture,

The Friends of the Library used- book sale is held every first Saturday, 10am-5pm and every third Wednesday, 1-6pm. Many children’s books and collectible titles are available. The event is held in the library meeting room, 17575 Peak Ave.

Earthday Park Restoration Effort
The California State Parks Foundation invites volunteers to help with maintenance efforts, 8am-1pm at Henry Coe Park on E. Dunne Ave, 13 miles east of Morgan Hill. Work includes erosion control and removal of downed trees and debris. Bring a sack lunch, water, gloves, long pants, sturdy shoes, sunscreen, hats, sunglasses and insect repellant.

Public Safety Day
The Community Law Enforcement Association observes “Public Safety Day,” with an open house , 1-5pm at the Morgan Hill Police Department, 16200 Vineyard Blvd. Event includes tours of the police station, information on child car seat use, bicycle safety and a visit from the Gilroy Police Dog Unit and representatives of the San Jose SaberCats. Free food and beverages for attendees and admission is free.

South Valley Symphony
The South Valley Symphony presents an evening of music with the Pacific Brass Band, 7:30 pm at Guglielmo Winery, 1480 E. Main Ave. Doors open at 7pm with no-host wine bar. Admission prices are $15 for adults, $12 for seniors age 55 and older, $9 for students age 12-18. Children under 12 are free with a paid adult. Tickets may be purchased at BookSmart, 80 E.
