San Jose – Kevin Mom shot 78 and David Cannon had a 79 Tuesday in the Blossom Valley Athletic League tournament at Cinnabar Hills Golf Course to qualify for the Central Coast Section tournament.
Mom finished eighth and Cannon ninth as the top-10 qualified for the CCS meet Monday at Rancho Cañada Golf Course in Carmel Valley. It was Cannon’s second straight year advancing to the CCS event.
The Acorns’ third golfer, Tim Dronek, shot 93.
