Morgan Hill – A 58-year-old Morgan Hill woman was arrested for alleged prostitution Tuesday morning after an incident near the Caltrans train station on Depot Street, according to Morgan Hill police Cmdr. David Swing.

Cleda Agatep was cited and released, and Vincente Moreno, 43, of Morgan Hill, was cited and released for allegedly soliciting a prostitute.

Officers responded to a call from an employee at a nearby business at approximately 11:30am. The employee reported a male pushing a female into the bushes adjacent to the railroad tracks south of the train station. When officers arrived, they learned the man was not assaulting or raping the woman, but that it was a consensual arrangement. They also learned Agatep had charged Moreno for the interlude.

A second male, Jose Rodriguez, 27, of Morgan Hill, was also contacted by police. Swing said he gave false information to police and was arrested. It was discovered he had an outstanding warrant from the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office, and he was booked into Santa Clara County Jail.
