Used-Book Sale

The Friends of the Library used- book sale is held 1-7pm on Tuesdays, 10am-7pm on Wednesdays, 10am-1pm on Thursdays and 10am-5:30pm on Saturdays at the Morgan Hill Library, 660 W. Main Ave. Extended hours for the book store will become available as more volunteers join the Friends of the Library. Cost of membership is $10.

The Morgan Hill Chamber of Commerce hosts a series of live music events, 7-9pm in downtown Morgan Hill. Tonight features the pop rock music of Four Way Free.

“I Hate Hamlet”

W.E.R.C. Bird Walk

The Wildlife Education and Rehabilitation Center is hosting a monthly series of bird walks, 9-11am along Coyote Creek, led by Jane Haley, a 20-year National Park Service docent. Due to terrain, walk is not recommended for younger children. Program is free, space is limited and reservations are required.

Aromas Day 2007

Live music, a parade, art in the park, strolling musicians, a scarecrow contest, plus food, a climbing wall, games, petting zoo, pony rides, and draft horse wagon rides. Proceeds of the day benefit local non-profit clubs and youth organizations such as Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and 4-H Club. Aromas Day begins with breakfast and a silent auction at the Grange from

7-11am. Arts and crafts in the park from 9am-4pm and the parade at 2pm.

AARP Safe Driving Class

AARP holds one-day refresher courses for drivers 50 years of age and older. Driver safety and new laws will be covered. Class is free and there is a minimal fee for a three-year DMV certificate for discounts on auto insurance. AARP membership not required. Call between 1pm and 6pm for time and location of next class.
