Aug. 10

Threats

• Hill Haven Mobile Home Park, Monterey Road, 10:20pm. A resident reported someone keeps calling her and threatening to kill her. She said she didn’t recognize the voice, and the number was blocked.

Aug. 11

Stolen vehicle

• Jasmine Square Apartments, Monterey Road, 12:35pm. A Chevy minivan was stolen from the residence overnight, but was recovered the following day.

Petty theft

• Ramada Inn, Condit Road, 1:05pm. A guest at the inn reported her purse was stolen the night before from the pool area.

Battery

• Dance Unlimited, Vineyard Boulevard, 8:35pm. A parent reported their son was “jumped” on the dance floor during a concert.

Aug. 12

Stolen vehicle

• Home Depot, East Dunne Avenue, 11:10am. A customer came out of the store and his truck had been stolen from the parking lot.

Aug. 13

Battery

• United States Post Office, Monterey Road, 7:53pm. A resident reported her daughter was “jumped” by another girl as she was walking away from the Post Office. The suspect is known to the victim, she told police.

Aug. 14

Grand theft

• Target store, Cochrane Road, 8:05am. Approximately $5,000 in lathing material was stolen overnight from the shopping center under construction.
