Level 4 and 5 Boys’ Teams Sweep Competition
Morgan Hill – The Morgan Hill Gymnastics competitive boys team competed at the Gold Country Classic this past weekend in San Francisco.

The Level 4 and Level 5 boys swept their competition, beating out teams from all over the Bay Area to capture the prestigious team awards.

Level 4 highlights include: Bryan Miner taking 1st place in the all around for his age group (8 and older), KyVon Hughes taking 3rd place in the all around for his age group (6-7 year olds), Dante Gallardo earning 1st place awards in both the Pommel Horse and High Bar.

Level 5 highlights include: Wesley Guild taking 2nd place in the all around for his age group (8-9 year olds) and 1st place on the Rings. Caleb Weisenburger taking 1st place on the Parallel Bars. Tristan Baughman, Kealan Baughman and Alec O’Grady received individual placements, contributing toward the Team Award for the Level 5 boys.

Level 7 Highlights include: William Clement taking 3rd in the All Around, Zachary Fedalizo taking 1st on the Rings.

Level 10 highlights include: Sergey Goder taking 1st on the Parallel Bars and Broderick Shemensky taking 3rd in the All Around.

With their performances in San Francisco, Domenic Zanotto, Guild, and Weisenburger qualified for the State Level 5 Championships which are scheduled for late March in Santa Cruz.
