- Petty theft: A taxicab driver reported the fare he drove from Burlingame to Morgan Hill left the cab without paying for the ride. The report was taken at 10:31am.

Stolen vehicle: A Ford truck was stolen from the parking lot of the Sun Valley Market on Monterey Road while the owner was in the store. He told police he was in the store for 20-30 minutes, and he left the keys on the truck’s seat. The report was taken at 12:01pm.

Petty theft: A portable PlayStation was stolen from a student’s backpack left outside the classroom at Nordstrom Elementary School. The report was taken at 5:52pm.

- Grand theft: Tools were stolen from the open bed of a pickup truck parked at a residence on La Crosse Drive overnight. The tools – including a drill set, air compressor and assorted others – were valued at approximately $550. The report was taken at 4:35pm.

- Auto burglary: a Morgan Hill resident reported her Jeep was broken into while it was parked in the parking lot of the Centennial Recreation Center on Edmundson Avenue. The report was taken at 1:36pm.
