A resident reported someone used his identity to open a Sears account.

March 2

  • Stolen vehicle, Jasmine Way, 5:01am

A resident reported their work vehicle was stolen while it was left running to warm up. The vehicle is a truck with City of Saratoga logos on the side.

  • Battery, Madrone Mobile Estates, Burnett Avenue, 10:45am

A plumber doing some work at the residence allegedly groped and “bearhugged” the resident.

  • Identity theft, Madrone Mobile Estates, Burnett Avenue, 11:28am

A resident reported someone used her identification to open an account with Direct TV.

  • Vandalism, Microtel Inn and Suites, Condit Road, 1:08pm

A guest reported their car was “keyed,” and a section of the vehicle was damaged as it appears someone kicked it.

A Toyota was broken into in the church parking lot. A window was shattered, and a purse was stolen.

A Cadillac Escalade was broken in the church parking lot. A window was shattered, and a purse was stolen.

March 3

  • Vandalism, Economy Inn, Monterey Road, 11:39am

The manager reported vandalism to one of the guest rooms overnight. Someone made a hole in the wall and broke the TV.

  • Petty theft, Strikes Lounge, Tennant Station Way, noon

A customer reported a male suspect stole her purse.

  • Defraud innkeeper, Happy Fisherman restaurant, Monterey Road, 8:04pm

The owner reported a woman came into the restaurant and cashed a traveler’s check and later left without paying.

  • Vandalism, Live Oak High School, East Main Avenue, 9:17pm

A GMC Jimmy window was shattered in the school parking lot.

  • Petty theft, McGraw Avenue, 9:39pm

A resident reported her purse was stolen from inside the residence while she was home.

  • Auto burglary, Nob Hill Foods, Vineyard Town Center, 10:33pm

An Izuzu Rodeo was broken into at the shopping center. A window was shattered and the stereo was stolen.

March 5

A resident reported their Toyota MR2 was stolen overnight.

  • Auto burglary, Mission Avenida, 7:10am

A resident reported someone stole the registration, papers, sunglasses and disabled parking placard from her unlocked vehicle overnight.

  • Petty theft, Monte Vista Apartments, Del Monte Avenue 7:29am

The community mail box was broken into.

  • Auto burglary, Calle Enrique, 3:53pm

A stereo was stolen from an unlocked Acura Integra.

  • Petty theft, Live Oak High School, East Main Avenue, 4:19pm

A resident reported their daughter’s cell phone was stolen from her locker at the school.

  • Petty theft, Prudential California Realty, Monterey Road, 4:51pm

A purse was stolen from a desk drawer in the office. Apparently a suspect came into the business, took the purse and ran from the office. The purse was later found in the bushes down the street from the business; the cash was missing, along with credit cards and gift cards.

  • Petty theft, R Liner Dance Studio, Monterey Road, 5:15pm

A wallet was stolen from an employee’s purse. The purse was laying on a table in the business, and a male suspect came in to ask about classes. The employee turned her back for a moment, and she told police that’s when she believes he took the wallet.

March 6

  • Auto burglary, Creekside Court, 5:04am

A Ford truck was broken into overnight. A window was shattered, and a wallet was stolen from the truck.

  • Auto burglary, Brookview Court, 7:23am

A Volkswagen Jetta was broken into overnight. A purse and backpack were stolen from the vehicle.

  • Fraud, Digital Drive, 9:09am

A suspect altered and cashed a state-refund check at a credit union. The original check was $324, it was altered to $4,380.09.

  • Stolen vehicle, Shadowlane Court, 10:37am

A resident reported a Buick Regal was stolen overnight from the residence’s driveway.

  • Jesse A. Bossi, Jr., 28, March 2, at 4:28pm on Del Monte Avenue, on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance.

  • Casey J. Loebs, 24, March 2, at 9:58pm on Jarvis Drive, for alleged possession of a controlled substance.

  • Larisa Samusenko, 26, March 2, at 9:58pm on Jarvis Drive, for alleged possession of a controlled substance.

  • Elliot Tovar, 24, March 3, at 11:24pm on Monterey Road, for alleged possession of a controlled substance for sale.

  • Marcus D. Padilla, 31, March 4, at 7:55pm on Cochrane Avenue, for alleged burglary.
