Gav fundraiser weekend

Gavilan College baseball and softball present a fundraising four-man handicap scramble golf tournament, 11am at the Gilroy Golf Course, 2695 Hecker Pass Hwy., Gilroy. Donation is $85 and includes green fees, cart, prize, refreshments and dinner. An alumni baseball game will be held at noon on Oct. 27 at the Gavilan baseball field, 5055 Santa Teresa Blvd., Gilroy. Donation is $25, $15 if also playing in the golf tournament.

‘Friday Night End of the Month’ at Pedrizzetti

An evening of fine wine, cheese and jazz and blues music by artist Johnny Fingers, 7-10pm at the Pedrizzetti Winery, 1645 San Pdero Ave. Cost is $10 for wine club members and $15 for non-members. Reservations recommended.

Second annual ‘Unleash the Spirits at the Winery’

Pedrizzetti Winery presents its second annual Halloween party,

7-11pm at the Pedrizzetti Winery, 1645 San Pedro Ave. Costume contest, wine tasting, scary tours and dancing to the music of the Fast Lane Band. Tickets are $20 for wine club members and $25 for non-members.

Garage/bake sale

Paradise Valley Elementary science camp holds a fundraiser garage/bake sale, 8am-3pm in the parking lot at Paradise Valley Elementary School, 1400 La Crosse Drive. You may donate items on Oct. 26, 2-9pm in the school’s cafeteria.

Used-book sale

The Friends of the Library used- book sale is held 1-7 p.m. on Tuesdays, 10 a.m.-7 p.m. on Wednesdays, 1-4 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays and 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m. on Saturdays at the Morgan Hill Library, 660 W. Main Ave. Extended hours for the book store will become available as more volunteers join the Friends of the Library. Cost of membership is $10.
