We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the people who participated in the overwhelming support of our Feb. 1 lunch special benefiting Red Cross and the 2005 disasters. We hope those of you who ordered lunch were completely satisfied and enjoyed your meal.
A tremendous amount of people participated in the lunch. As a result of everyone’s generosity, the contributions to the Red Cross exceeded $3,700. These funds will benefit the efforts of the Red Cross and help the many people around the world that are suffering. This is just another good example of the caring heart of our community.
The team effort and dedication of Culinary Express staff was foundational to our successes. The following people should be commended for their combined efforts from marketing, preparation, organization and delivery: Kristi Chapman, Donna Coleman, Diana Guertin, Steve Lakey, Carolyn Perry and Dave Rich.
Additionally, special recognition needs to be made to our volunteer drivers, Allan Palmer and Randy Hall, who delivered more than 300 lunches. Thank you for donating your time for such a good cause.
As the saying goes, it may “take a village to raise a child,” but it takes a world of generous people such as you to rebuild the village. On behalf of the entire Culinary Express staff, thank you again.
