from San Jose, as the man who died Monday in Coyote Reservoir.
The county coroner identified Luyen Ngoc Bui, a 37-year-old man from San Jose, as the man who died Monday in Coyote Reservoir. Bui decided to go swimming before he and two acquaintances went fishing Monday afternoon, according to witnesses.
The other two men went to get their fishing equipment; when they returned, Bui was missing. Sheriff’s deputies, park rangers and CalFire pilots searched the area, and found Bui in the water, not far from where he’d left his clothing and shoes. Cause of death has not yet been confirmed.
