- Vandalism: A Crest Avenue resident reported someone broke his car’s window. He told police he has an idea who did it. He said he saw the suspect with a baseball bat running away. The report was taken at 10:33pm.
Feb. 8
- Burglary: A Grand Prix Way resident reported an electric guitar was stolen from the residence. He told police he believes his fiance’s ex-husband who was at the residence earlier banging on the door entered the residence through an unlocked side garage door and took the guitar. The report was taken at 1:20pm.

Fraud: A Morgan Hill resident accidentally left her debit card at the Burger King restaurant on East Dunne Avenue, and someone used the card to pay a bill. The report was taken at 1:56pm.
Feb. 9
- Fraud: A Morgan Hill resident reported she left her ATM card at the Wells Fargo Bank ATM machine, and someone has been using it at Safeway grocery store and Morgan Hill gas. The report was taken at 3:56pm.

Burglary: A Calle Central resident reported $4,600 in tools were stolen from the garage during the afternoon. The report was taken at 5pm.

Child abuse: Child Protective Services reported a La Crosse Village father hit his child with a belt and also threw a cell phone at him. The report was taken at 6:08pm.

Auto burglary: A Morgan Hill resident reported his Hummer was broken into while parked in the lot at the Morgan Hill Community and Cultural Center during an event. He told police a window was shattered, and his navigation system was stolen. The report was taken at 10:58pm.

- Burglary: A Jasmine Square Apartments resident reported someone was trying to break down the apartment’s door. She told police the suspect had chased her brother into the apartment. The report was taken at 12:17am.

Petty theft: A Morgan Hill resident reported her cell phone was stolen from the Petco store in the Vineyard Town Center. She told police she put the phone down for a moment, and someone stole it. The report was taken at 1:53pm.

- Auto burglary: A Morgan Hill resident reported their locked Toyota Sequoia was broken into while parked at the church on East Dunne Avenue. A purse was stolen from the Toyota. The report was taken at 12:38pm.

Stolen vehicle: A Morgan Hill resident reported a Ford Focus was stolen from the parking lot at the Cinelux Theaters in Tennant Station shopping center. The report was taken at 6:15pm.
Feb. 12
- Vandalism: Someone scratched the paint and wrote graffiti on the wall of one of the cells at the police department. The report was taken at 10:04am.

Petty theft: The Quick Stop on West Main Avenue reported two teens stole a $20 bottle of liquor from the store. The report was taken at 5:44pm.

Two 16-year-old Live Oak High students were cited and released for allegedly fighting on campus. The report was taken on Jan. 25 at 7:51am.

Francisco D. Mills, 22, was booked into Santa Clara County Jail on an outstanding warrant, and Pedro A. Rios, IV, 23 was cited and released for allegedly giving a false ID to a peace officer. The report was taken at 12:59pm on Jan. 29.

Nicholas E. Alviso, 22, was cited and released on suspicion of driving under the influence. The report was taken on Feb. 2 at 11:48pm.
