SV Storm, an 11-and-under travel team with players from Morgan Hill and Gilroy, won the All World Sports Bring the Funk baseball tournament held April 9-10 in Antioch.
Playing against 11U and 10-year-old teams, the Storm won three games Saturday and one game Sunday morning to reach the afternoon’s championship game, where the locals triumphed 8-5 over a tough TABU team that fields players from Brentwood to Hollister.
Storm outscored its tournament foes 42-10.
