Oakwood High freshman Amay Poria has begun play on the Junior Golf Association of Northern California with a bang, placing second and fourth in his first two events.
Poria, 15, has also finished in the top five in each of his five Junior Tour of Northern California tournaments this season, with two second-place efforts.
He is on pace for a big showing at the European Junior Championships in Scotland in two weeks.
