between Gilroy and Hollister.
The California Highway Patrol and other emergency officials have responded to three separate vehicle accidents on U.S. Highway 152 between Gilroy and Hollister.
The first collision was between two vehicles and occurred near Soap Lake at 3:42 p.m., according to the CHP. An ambulance has responded to the scene and at least one vehicle was reportedly on fire.
The highway is closed to traffic at Lovers Lane, where the CHP is diverting vehicles, according to an online incident report.
A second accident occurred at 3:52 p.m. near Bloomfield Road, and a third was called in at 3:57 p.m. near a roadside fruit stand, according to the online report. No injuries were reported at those two accidents.
