September 1

• A home under construction in the 17900 block of Calle Hermosa was broken into overnight. The report was taken at 6:31am.

• Power cords, welding equipment and other items were stolen from a site on Diana Avenue after being left out overnight. The report was taken at 7:14am.

• Vandalism: A resident of the 16800 block of Saddleback Drive reported a window of their cargo van was shattered overnight. The report was taken at 8:45am.

•Vandalism: A resident of the 16700 block of Saddleback Drive reported the back window of their Toyota Corolla was shattered overnight. The report was taken at 9:19am.

• Fraud: A resident of the 800 block of La Crosse Drive reported a credit card was stolen from their mailbox and used at locations in Morgan Hill. The amount of the purchases is more than $500. The report was taken at 10:37am.

• Fraud: Safeway grocery store in Tennant Station shopping center reported a suspect wrote a check on a closed bank account. Store cameras caught him on tape. The report was taken at 12:59pm.

• Trespassing: Two male teenagers who do not attend the school were hanging out on the campus of Live Oak High on East Main Avenue. School officials said the two were sitting under a tree in front of the school, playing with a lighter, and refused to leave the campus when they were asked to leave. The report was taken at 2:30pm.

• Vandalism: A resident of the Morgan Village condominiums reported the back window of their vehicle was shattered during the afternoon. The report was taken at 2:48pm.

• Vandalism: A resident of the 17500 block of Grand Prix Way reported a window of their vehicle was shattered. The report was taken at 3:41pm.

• Vandalism: A resident of Sorrel Way reported their truck and their car both have a hole in them, and the vandalism likely occurred the night before because they saw a silver truck driving by slowly. The report was taken at 6:07pm.

• Vandalism: A resident of the Morgan Village condominiums reported the back window of her Honda Accord was shattered. The report was taken at 9:07pm.
